When and where is Laurels for Leaders?
Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at the Four Points by Sheraton, 8110 Aero Dr., San Diego, CA 92123. Parking is free.

Why is the event in November this year?
For 69 years, Laurels for Leaders was held in February around Presidents' Day weekend. Starting with our 70th year, the event moves to the fall.

What is the schedule?

• 8:30–9:00 a.m. | Check-In & Breakfast (ASB Presidents only; doors open at 8:30 a.m.)
• 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. | ASB President Workshop (ASB Presidents only)
• 12:00–1:00 p.m. | ASB President & Event Sponsor Lunch (ASB Presidents and Event Sponsors only)
• 1:00–1:30 p.m. | 70th Annual Awards Ceremony (Open to everyone; doors open at 12:45 p.m.)

For ASB Presidents

When is the registration deadline?
Friday, October 9, 2026.

How do I register?
Register yourself using the ASB President Registration link. Advisors and parents should not register on your behalf.

Can another officer attend if our ASB President can't?
No. The workshop, lunch and cash award are for the current ASB President only.

How do I receive the cash award?
Attend both the morning workshop and the Awards Ceremony. Every President who attends both receives an unrestricted cash award at the Honor Roll Call.

What time should I arrive?
Doors open at 8:30 a.m. for check-in and breakfast.

What should I wear?
Business casual.
Bonus: we'll have a free professional headshot station for ASB Presidents! Wear a solid-colored business casual outfit (no busy patterns or large logos) and come ready for your close-up.

For Advisors, Principals, Family and Guests

Can I attend the workshop or lunch?
No. In past years, parents, advisors and principals were invited to the lunch. Starting this year, the workshop and lunch are reserved for ASB Presidents, with Event Sponsors joining at lunch.

Can I attend the Awards Ceremony?
Yes! Everyone is welcome. The ceremony begins at 1:00 p.m., and doors open at 12:45 p.m.

Do guests need to register?
Yes. Admission is free, but please register every guest using the Guest Registration link so we have an accurate head count and a seat ready for you.

For VIP & Elite Sponsors

What are the sponsorship levels?

• VIP Sponsor | $500: Includes one ticket to the ASB President & Event Sponsor Lunch, recognition in the event program, an Impact Spotlight in Laurels communications and VIP seating at the Awards Ceremony.
• Elite Sponsor | $1,000: Includes all VIP benefits, plus the opportunity to speak to ASB Presidents during the workshop, logo recognition on the Laurels for Leaders website, enhanced recognition in Laurels communications and premium visibility at the event.

How do I become a sponsor?
Register using the Event Sponsor Registration link. 

Where does my sponsorship go?
Your support funds the program and the unrestricted cash award every attending ASB President receives at the Honor Roll Call.

What time do I need to be there?

• Elite Sponsors: Arrive by 11:30 a.m. to speak to ASB Presidents during the final part of the morning workshop.
• VIP Sponsors: Arrive by 11:50 a.m. for the ASB President & Event Sponsor Lunch at 12:00 p.m.

What should I wear?
Business casual.

How long do Elite Sponsors speak?

Each Elite Sponsor has 30 seconds for a brief introduction and message to the ASB Presidents.

Can I bring a guest to the lunch?
Each sponsorship includes one lunch ticket. Your guests are always welcome at the Awards Ceremony at 1:00 p.m. with free Guest Registration.

When do you need my logo?
Elite Sponsors, please send a high-resolution logo to info@laurelsforleaders.org by October 19 for website recognition.
